<description>When it comes to bathroom safety, things aren't as obvious as they seem -- well some things are. No one really thinks of the bathroom as a dangerous place, but there are many accidents that can occur in this safe haven. There are many poisons and sharp objects and other things in the bathroom that we have to be mindful of. That's why we've compiled a list of bathroom safety tips to make your trip to the bathroom a little more pleasant. With these bathroom safety tips you'll be more aware of what is kept in your bathroom and know how to protect you and your loved ones from any hidden harm.

Bathroom Safety Tips
Poisons -- To us they aren't poisons, but to little children who like to get into mischief, simple things such as mouthwash, rubbing alcohol, iodine, etc. can be harmful. Children are curious and will play with anything and for some reason, will put anything in their mouths. So many kids get harmed each year from poison because they consume poisons.

Razors -- Razors, scissors and other cutting objects are common in the bathroom, but can be a danger to young children. Even something as simple as tweezers can cause bodily harm to a young child. Kids don't know the concept of "sharp" or "dangerous." What looks good to them they will play with.

Bathtubs and Sinks -- Never set bath water and leave your child alone in the bathroom. This is one of the biggest bathroom safety tips out there. Children can drown in a mere few inches of water. This is perhaps the most preventable tragedy in the bathroom.

When it comes to bathroom safety, don't leave anything to chance. Protect yourself and your young ones. Always have bathroom safety in mind. Keep you and your family safe.
